| I'm new to this. Anyway, I'm Hilda and have been crafting all my life. I was completely devoted to Threadbanger in the good old days, and now I've found craftovision! Success! I've started blogging about my own crafting, when I find the time and energy for it.. It would be great to meet some swedish/scandinavian crafters, almost everyone I know buy their stuff instead of making it </3 I need someone to brainstorm with! Please welcome me with open arms.. Sweden is a horrible nation to be a crafter in | |

| The usual stuff is happening, debating our nationalistic party who appears in the manifest of the terrorist in Oslo a couple of weeks ago (big deal here), we can't smoke in public anymore, and it's raining big time. Other then that, it's pretty nice over here. | |

| Oh okay - I thought you meant something specific to crafting (like availability of fabric etc). You can't smoke in public!? I personally hate smoking, but that sounds a bit extreme. I hate when someone sits next to you at a bus stop and lights up - I'm asthmatic and it affects my breathing - they don't even ask! However, I have no issue with people smoking on the street in general - as long as they aren't blowing it in people's faces or littering afterwards. I do hate cigarette butts/ash in plants!! |

| You're allowed to smoke in public, just not at restaurants, schools, hospitals and that sort of thing. You are allowed to smoke at outdoors restaurants, though! | |

| We have 2 stores with supplies for crafting, and about 1500 stores with yarn. In sweden we love to knit. I plan to travel back to the US to fill up a bag with supplies to bring back home with me. Only one store is specialised on all kinds of supplies, but all their stuff is so expensive I can't buy what I need, and they don't sell a lot of usable stuff either.
Nope, the smoking is soon to be forbidden even in public areas. It's just a matter of time now, the government is already debating it. | |
