| I figured I'd add something to the Costume Section. Last year for Halloween I went 'out' as Dr. Zoidberg from Futurama. My boyfriend went out as Fry. Zoidberg's salmony coloured self I hand made (well, my sewing machine helped). The mask was definitely a task and a half. And the too big for me-over coat, green scrub like clothes, and sandals I got from 2 thrift stores around the city. I creeped out my sister, my neice and random teenage girls wanted a hug. I think I did my part of Halloween frightening when people heard a female voice from under the lobster head. Oh! And I made my neighbors youngest child cry. BA-ZING! | |

| You know a Halloween costume is finished when you make a small child cry.
That looks awesome! Do you have any pics of your boyfriend and you together in costume? | |

| Awe thanks!!! I don't think I have one on this computer. But we sprayed his hair orange, styled it accordingly and found a red jacket to wear over his white Tshirt...and I think he wore blue jeans. Top if off with a stupid look on his face the whole evening saying, "It used to be milk, but time makes fools of us all!" and voila! Fry. The teenage girls definitely wanted to hug him, and the only thing the little kids would say to him was, "you're not scary" haha | |

| Animama, if I remember correctly it was a thin type broadcloth. Almost like a liner fabric. I didn't want anything stretchy, so it had little or no give...my major concern I found when I went to buy it, wasn't selecting fabric type but finding the right colour. I also thought about dyeing the perfect fabric for the costume, but I'm a procrastinator and had very little time to make it. It worked out well for me Thanks for everyone's kind words. You guys are the greatest. High fives all around!! | |
