Ok, I know, a scarf, big woop. But I was primeraly testing out a lace knitting pattern lent to me, which BTW was frikkin' impossible! So I put it on my HUGE needles to try and figure it out (and I did - go me!). I thought it looks pretty funky with the big loops, I alternated it with stocking stitch to mix it up.
By the way - if anyone has any tips on lace knitting let me know. There was this other pattern where you had to wrap the yarn twice at the beginning and end of the row which I just couldn't get on with without either dropping or gaining stitches. Make sense?
